Mervin – Live in Lake Country!

Directions: From Lloydminster, go southeast on the TransCanada to the junction of Hwy 303, then east to Hwy 21, go north across the North Saskatchewan River to the junction of Hwy 303, then east to Turtleford, turn south east on Hwy 26 to Mervin.

This area of rolling hills and dense bush lends itself to cattle ranching and some grain farming. The oil industry is also developing in the area.

The sport of golf is alive and well in Mervin. The Mervin and District Golf course was established over 40 years ago and it still proves to be a challenging course.

Mervin is an excellent place for people who love the outdoors. Both Turtle and Brightsand Lakes are located nearby and are great spots for camping, fishing and swimming.

In Mervin, there is a Co-op store with groceries, hardware and bulk fuel sales. There is also an automotive and tire shop.

You can go out for a healthy, tasty meal at the local organic café and teahouse. All other necessary services, including health care and RCMP, are located in Turtleford; just a five minute drive.

Children are bussed to school in nearby Turtleford.
