Directions: From Lloydminster take Hwy 17 north to the junction of Hwy 3, then east to the junction of Hwy 21 just past Paradise Hill, turn north. Approximately 1.5 hours travel time.
Ministikwan Lake has a small year-round subdivision supplemented by seasonal camping, store, playground and public beach area. Ministikwan Lake is in the heart of the Bronson forest, so the wildlife is plentiful, and there are many additional fishing lakes close by.
Vern's personal favorite as a lake as his family used to always spend a week vacation there between spraying and haying on the family farm. There are several islands on the lake, one of which hosts a heron rookery.
